Privacy Policy
Car Plate AI (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is operated by RohitEnterprise. This policy explains what data is collected when you use the Car Plate AI iOS app and this website, and how it is used. Privacy is a default here, not an afterthought.
1. Getting Started
Car Plate AI is designed to be easy to start. No personal information is required to begin generating plate ideas — generation starts immediately on install.
2. Data We Collect
2a. Usage Analytics (Firebase Analytics)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with the app. This includes:
- App opens, session duration, and feature usage (e.g. plate generation, paywall views)
- Device type, OS version, and region (country-level only — not precise location)
- Crash reports and performance data
- In-app purchase events (anonymised — no payment data)
Analytics data is pseudonymous — tied to a randomly generated device identifier, not to you personally. Google’s privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
2b. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free tier of Car Plate AI displays banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use device advertising identifiers (IDFA) to serve relevant ads, subject to your iOS tracking permission settings.
You can limit ad tracking at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Users in the EEA and UK are presented with a consent form on first launch via Google’s User Messaging Platform before any ads are served.

2c. In-App Purchases (Apple StoreKit)
Credit packs are purchased through Apple’s StoreKit system. We do not see, store, or have access to your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy governs all transaction data: apple.com/privacy.
Your credit balance is stored securely in your device’s Keychain and is never transmitted to our servers.
2d. AI Plate Generation
When you generate plate ideas, your selected country, region (if applicable), and interest keywords are sent to our secure Firebase Cloud Function, which calls Google’s Gemini AI model on your behalf. This data is used solely to generate your plate ideas and is not stored or logged on our servers. No generation history is retained server-side.
3. Data We Do Not Collect
- Your name, email address, or contact details
- Precise location or GPS data
- Photos or camera data
- Your generation history (this stays only on your device)
4. Firebase App Check
Car Plate AI uses Firebase App Check to ensure all requests to our backend originate from the genuine iOS app — protecting against API abuse. No personal data is collected as part of this process.
5. Data Retention
Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months by default, after which Google automatically deletes it. We retain no generation request data on our servers.
6. Children’s Privacy
Car Plate AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
